Privacy policy
Last updated 12 October 2026
Dogogram is made by Differ Apps. This explains what the app collects and why. We don't ask for your name, email, location or contacts, and there are no accounts.
What we collect
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| An anonymous user ID (Firebase Authentication) | Cloud save and the leaderboard |
| Your leaderboard name, scores and game progress (Cloud Firestore) | Cloud save and the public leaderboard. The name is visible to other players, so don't use your real name |
| Crash logs and performance data (Firebase Crashlytics) | Fixing bugs |
| How you use the app, e.g. levels played (Firebase Analytics) | Improving the game |
| Advertising identifier and ad interaction data (Google AdMob), only if you allow it | Showing ads, including personalised ads where permitted |
Ads and your choices
Dogogram shows ads served by Google AdMob. In the UK and EEA, Google's consent form asks for your choice before personalised ads. On iPhone, Apple's tracking prompt appears only if you allow personalised ads, and you can decline. You can change your choices any time in Settings → Privacy & ads, or in your device settings (reset or limit your advertising ID).
Who we share data with
Google (Firebase and AdMob) processes data on our behalf and for advertising, under Google's privacy policy. We don't sell your data. Your leaderboard name and score are public to other players.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your cloud save and leaderboard entry while the game is in use. To have your data deleted, email support@differapps.com with your leaderboard name and we'll delete it. Uninstalling the app removes local data from your device.
Children
Dogogram is a general-audience game for players aged 13 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from younger children; if you think we have, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under UK and EU GDPR) you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data, or to object to processing. Email us to use them. You may also complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above.
